The State College Area School District has entered into an exciting new agreement with the Schlow Centre Region Library (SCRL) called the All Ready Access program. The All Ready Access program will create an infrastructure that will allow all SCASD students to access SCRL’s online resources freely while at home and at school. SCRL will serve as an extension of the classroom, and our shared goals of increasing literacy and educational success will be realized by developing a comprehensive, strategic, and sustainable collaboration between the two organizations.
SCASD is currently working with Schlow to create library accounts for all of our students K-12. Once students have a Schlow library number, it can be found on IT Central under their user information. Any information shared with Schlow during the account creation process will be used solely for the purpose of the library accounts.
Using their given Schlow library number, all SCASD students will now have immediate access to the following online resources at school and at home:
Schlow’s complete collection of ebooks, audiobooks, and digital magazines
Databases such as TumbleBooks, BookFlix, and TrueFlix for elementary and Hoopla and Flipster for secondary
Muzzy language learning courses
