SeeSaw Overview

We’ve found that students succeed when they’re given both the opportunity to be challenged and engaged, along with the tools to work through those challenges in interesting and creative ways.  One such tool which the district currently relies upon is Seesaw.

Seesaw is a platform where teachers are able to leverage technology to create activities and assignments in order to help students to grow, both in terms of education and creativity.  Students are able to complete their activities and assignments using the tools within Seesaw to share their words, photos, drawings, and other expressions in a digital portfolio, which families are encouraged to view and enjoy with their students.  Families can gain a window into their student’s learning and their overall classroom experience.  Seesaw provides a method for learning and open classroom communication between teachers, students, and their families.
